Inter Miami is interested in signing two more former Barcelona players, and club president Jorge Mas has confirmed that Jordi Alba and Luis Suarez have had talks with Inter Miami.
After rejecting a hefty offer from Al-Hilal, Lionel Messi, 36, has already agreed to join Inter Miami, while veteran midfielder Sergio Busquets, 34, is also moving to Major League Soccer.
Alba, who left Barcelona, is now a free agent and is 34 years old. Suarez, 36, presently represents Gremio in Brazil and has a release clause there.
Inter Miami, which David Beckham co-owns, is striving to assemble a better roster, and Messi's signing may help the team draw in more star players.
Tata Martino's hiring as coach has now been made official by Inter Miami. Messi and Martino previously collaborated at Argentina and Barcelona.
Messi and Busquets are not visiting Inter Miami "for a vacation," said Martino.
