"Keep it up, your time will come" - What Ex Brazil captain told Arsenal's Gabriel Magalhães

Cafu, a Brazilian great, has urged Gabriel Magalhaes of Arsenal not to lose hope over his lack of selection to the national team of Brazil.
Gabriel has performed well since moving from Lille to Arsenal in 2020.

However, despite his outstanding achievements as a member of the Gunners, the twenty-five-year-old has not received a senior level cap for Brazil.

Gabriel was infamously omitted from Tite's team for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

But Cafu has now urged the defender to keep up the good work because his moment will come.

“Gabriel Magalhaes, keep it up. One day your chance will come.

“It didn’t happen this time but don’t be discouraged, things happen for a reason. Keep doing what you are doing, keep getting Arsenal where you want to be, the Premier League title.

“And continue your career. You weren’t called up this time but you could be called up in the future,” Cafu told FUTBIN.
