Mason Mount has at last addressed the issue of his future with the football team Chelsea.

The English international had a medical and signed a deal with Manchester United.

Mount, whose contract with the Blues has one year remaining, consented to transfer to the Old Trafford venue.

Chelsea rejected Manchester United's first offers until the Red Devils finally matched the player's 60 million pound price.

Mount is one of the players whom Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has been removing from the club.

As he announced his departure from Chelsea, he shared a taped video of himself. He was grateful for the fans' encouragement.

He claims that rather of sending a letter, he chose to honor the Chelsea supporters by making a video of himself discussing his future.

Although a formal announcement to confirm the purchase of Mount has not yet been made by Manchester United or Chelsea.
Mason Mount says goodbye to Chelsea fans:

“I feel you deserve more than just a written statement so I wanted to tell you directly how grateful I've been for all of your support over the last 18 years. I know some of you won't be happy with my decision but it's what's right for me at this moment in my career.”
