Lionel Messi scores brace as Inter Miami thrashed Atlanta United 4-0

Early on Wednesday, Lionel Messi scored twice to help Inter Miami secure a convincing victory. 

Inter Miami defeated Atlanta United 4-0 to advance to the Leagues Cup round of 32.

The Argentine football great seems to be adjusting well to life in the MLS, where he joined during the summer transfer window. 

If you remember, Lionel Messi left PSG and signed with Inter Miami on a free transfer. 

Last week, the former PSG player made his League Cup debut against Cruz Azul and scored on a free kick in the 90th minute. 

Then, as Inter Miami crushed Atlanta United, Lionel Messi scored twice in the first half. 

Messi scored the team's first goal after nine minutes, then doubled their lead after twenty-two.
