May, the initial wife of Nollywood star Yul Edochie, has reportedly filed for divorce from him.
According to sources, on July 10, May and her legal agent appeared in court to file a petition for the breakup of their 18-year marriage.
The couple's main source of contention originates from Yul's intention to get married to star Judy Austin as a second wife.
Yul officially revealed the arrival of his son with Judy and their following marriage in April 2022.
She genuinely thinks that polygamy is an individual decision, and while she understands how specific religions and traditions enable it, she refuses to be bullied into joining the act that opposes her own faith and family values.
