Jurrien Timber has joined Arsenal from Ajax in a 40 million pound transfer.

The Netherlands international is Mikel Arteta's second summer signing after he bought Kai Havertz from Chelsea for 65 million pounds.

Mikel Arteta appears to be gearing up his club for the 2023-24 season. After finishing second last season, Arsenal will attempt to push Manchester City for the crown.

Jurrien Timber arrived in London with our mother and brothers following his signing as an Arsenal footballer.

The full back, who can also play center back, was shown with his mother holding his new No. 12 Arsenal shirt.

The defender is likely to go to the United States with the rest of the Arsenal group for pre-season training.
