Cristiano Ronaldo faced Angel Di Maria, a former Real Madrid teammate, during a friendly match between Al Nassr and Benfica. 

During the preseason friendly match involving Al Nassr with Benfica at the Estadio Algarve on Thursday, Benfica forward Angel Di Maria and Al Nassr great Cristiano Ronaldo were photographed expressing respect to one other.

The former Real Madrid teammates were seen laughing and hugging each other as they prepared for their preseason friendly encounter on Thursday night.

In the meantime, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Arabia captain, was humiliated 4-1 by Benfica. 

Angel Di Maria, the Argentine international, rejoined to Benfica on a free transfer this summer. 

Upon leaving Juventus at the conclusion of his contract, the ex Manchester United and Real Madrid player decided to join the Portuguese club.
