"Simi turned down collaboration with me because I wanted to sleep with her" - Singer Brymo

Brymo, also known as Olawale Ashimi, has said that the reason he declined Simi's proposal for a song cameo was because she refused to engage in sexual contact with him.

This information was disclosed by the musician in a voice message that he posted on his social media accounts.

Despite the fact that Simi was dating Adekunle Gold at the time, Brymo said that he still felt bad about the condition he placed on her.

Brymo said “There is a part of me that feels remorse for my requirement for a collaboration with the talented Simi, yet I am reminded that I was indeed and honestly seeking to experience the outcome of making music with a female act I was bedding….”

The musician further said that he made the same request of Ghanaian artist Efya and that his only goal was to find out what it was like to create songs with a person he was sleeping with.

“I proposed same to Efya too then,” he said in his post on his Twitter timeline.
