Cyriel Dessers, a striker from Nigeria, has signed a four-year deal with Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
For the striker, Rangers allegedly paid Serie A team Cremonese €5 million plus €1.5 million in add-ons.
The 28-year-old played one season for Cremonese after moving there from KRC Genk of the Belgian Pro League.
Dessers played for OH Leuven, Lokeren, and Genk for a number of seasons in the Belgian Pro-League. He also played for Utrecht, Heracles Almelo, and Feyenoord in the top division of Dutch football.
Dessers was selected to the UEFA Europa Conference League team of the season in 2021/22 while playing for Feyenoord and was the league's leading scorer with 10 goals.
