Super Eagles star Ola Aina joins Nottingham Forest

Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has signed a one-year contract with Nottingham Forest. 

The deal was confirmed by the English Premier League (EPL) team in a statement published on its website on Saturday.

Earlier in July, the 26-year-old's contract with FC Torino in Italy expired.

Aina graduated from the Chelsea FC Academy before departing for FC Torino in 2019.

During the 2020–21 season, the Italian club leased him to Fulham, where he was a pillar of the squad that ultimately lost its playoff position.

Aina, meanwhile, earned his debut as a senior international for Nigeria in 2017 and has since appeared a total of thirty matches for the Super Eagles.
