Swae Lee Praises Nigerian musicians, Davido and Wizkid for Amapiano

Swae Lee, a young and well-known American rapper, appears to have offended many South Africans with a tweet he sent regarding Nigeria and Amapiano. 

Due to a tweet he wrote that appeared to attribute the creation of Amapiano to Nigerians, Swae Lee had been involved in a heated online debate with South Africans.

The rapper swiftly clarified, however, that he never claimed that Nigerians were responsible for Amapiano; rather, he was informing his followers about an upcoming song that was produced in Nigeria. 

Swae Lee responded to the criticism from South Africans by claiming that he never claimed that Nigerians founded Ampiano. Swae Lee was just in Nigeria to work on a single and film a video for a song with French Montana.
