In a recent interview, actress Joke Silva spoke openly about the health issues her spouse has been dealing with and how those issues have impacted their marriage so far.
The problems that her husband has been dealing with for years, according to the interview Joke Silva gave to Nancy Isime for her radio program, have caused him to undergo significant changes.
Olu Jacob, 80, is now suffering dementia, and according to Silva's joke,"The journey has not been easy. There was a point in time of acceptance for me that everything happening in reality and I noticed that person I married almost 80 percent of the time is no longer there."
When chatting with Nancy Isime, Joke Silva said that the experienced actress
"The truth is that when he was there, he was a loving father to his children and a good husband to me, he was practically my best friend.
She concluded by saying, The husband I knew is no longer there for me, but this man that is here is someone I still love.”
