Arsenal have submitted £20m bid for Brentford goalkeeper David Raya

Brentford has received the first offer from Arsenal for David Raya. 

To improve the quality of their team for the next season, the Gunners are aiming to acquire the Spanish goalkeeper. 

If you remember, Mikel Arteta's team placed second in the Premier League last year. 

Declan Rice from West Ham, Jurrien Timber from Ajax, and Kai Havertz from Chelsea have all been acquired by Mikel Arteta. 

The head coach of Arsenal seems to be considering a move for David Raya, who has been noted as a serious rival to Aaron Ramsdale, the team's starting goalkeeper. 

According to sports writer Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal's offer is for a set sum of £20 million plus $3 million in add-ons. 

Raya informed Brentford of his desire to go since personal arrangements had already been settled.
