Arsenal and Brentford have agreed on a deal for goalkeeper David Raya.
According to reports, the player is getting ready to join Mikel Arteta as his next big acquisition for somewhere around £30 million in transfer fees.
Sports writer Fabrizio Romano stated that the Spaniard and Arsenal had already reached a personal agreement.
Raya is scheduled to get his club medical this week before being introduced as a new player.
If you remember, Brentford demanded £40 million to acquire the Spanish goalkeeper, and Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United were both interested in doing so.
Raya is expected to sign a five-year deal with the Gunners until 2028 as they add depth to their squad in preparation for the new season.
In the upcoming Premier League season, Raya will compete with Aaron Ramsdale of England for the top position at Arsenal.
Last season, David Raya participated in each of Brentford's Premier League games as the Bees placed ninth in the rankings.
Raya maintained 12 Premier League clean sheets last season and seems to match Mikel Arteta's style at Arsenal.
