Arsenal has had a busy summer so far. For a total of more than £200 million, David Raya, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, and Kai Havertz have all joined. Despite their excellent work with new players, it seems that the Gunners' main priority is sales.

Mikel Arteta side have been busy in the past few days working on players exit in order to trim the squad.

On Sunday, Kieran Tierney moved to Real Sociedad on loan, and on Wednesday night, Folarin Balogun's £34.3 million transfer to Monaco was made official. Nuno Tavares, meanwhile, is about to sign a season-long contract with Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal still has a chance to add a player before the transfer window ends if they are successful in securing any significant departures. Most likely, this is a defender. However, given the current state of affairs, it is acknowledged that any prospective incomings remain a long way off.
