Arsenal players showed support for injured Jurrien Timber during EPL clash with Crystal Palace

Arsenal players showed their support to Jurrien Timber during their Premier League match against Crystal Palace. 

The Gunners traveled to the Selhurst Park on Monday night for their match day 2 fixture.

Mikel Arteta side claimed 1-0 win over the Eagles after Martin Odegaard scored from the penalty spot. 

Prior to the game kick off, Martin Odegaard was seen holding Jurrien Timber shirt as they posed for team's photograph. 

The defender is currently injured and he will be out for months. Recall that Timber sustained the injury on his Premier league debut against Nottingham. 

Arsenal had chances to extend their lead in the first half but Eddie Nketiah couldn't wasn't clinical enough in the attack. 

The Arsenal striker eventually won a penalty after Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone caught his leg. 

The Gunners held on for a nervy finish after Tomiyasu was sent off after he received a second yellow card in the 64th minutes.
