Barcelona are in discussions to recruit Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo once his loan term with Bayern Munich ends.
The 29-year-old unexpectedly left the Etihad in the January transfer window after he fell out of favour under Pep Guardiola and this summer, he is apparently planning a long-term move.
It was reported that Bayern Munich refused to sign Joao Cancelo on permanent deal due to his valuation.
According to talkSport, Barcelona, the La Liga champion, has started negotiations with City about buying the full-back, who cost £60 million to bring from Juventus to Manchester in 2019.
According to reports, Pep Guardiola's team would prefer to sell the Portuguese international than enter into another loan arrangement, and Barcelona could be able to accommodate City's demands after selling Ousmane Dembele.
