Despite a recent discussion with the player and his representatives about a move, Brighton are still asking for £100 million for Moises Caicedo, who is a target for Chelsea.
Moises Caicedo, a midfielder for Brighton, was present in a transfer meeting over the weekend, and Chelsea is still working on a deal to bring him to the club this summer.
Throughout the most of the current trade season, the Blues and Seagulls have been in negotiations to bring Caicedo to Stamford Bridge, but little progress has been achieved.
Chelsea's most recent offer for Caicedo was turned down, as Brighton stood by its £100 million price tag. The Blues and Caicedo's team already have a personal terms deal in place. However, given the £20 million value difference, that is the area in which the real challenge resides.
Caicedo and his aides want to treat the situation delicately out of consideration for Brighton. The player, however, is becoming impatient since a contract has not yet been reached between the two teams, and it seems that situation may persist.
