Didier Drogba, a former professional football player from Ivory Coast, has been named the team's head coach.
The Chelsea icon, who has a four-year contract with the Ivorian national side, has the responsibility of leading Cote d'Ivoire to the 2026 World Cup victory as well as the 2024 and 2025 Africa Cup of Nations victories.
It's interesting to note that Drogba has never coached before after receiving his UEFA PRO license.
