Lauren James has been named Women's Young Player of the Year for the 2022-23 season.

The 20-year-old plays as a forward for the Three Lionesses of England and Chelsea football club
Due to a number of physical issues, James, who switched from Manchester United to the Blues last summer, only made 12 appearances for Chelsea Super League winners in 2021/22.
Chelsea women's coach Hayes only used the 20-year-old striker six times for a total of 107 minutes throughout their title-winning season, and each of those appearances came off the bench.
Lauren James is Reece James, the captain of Chelsea, twin sister.
After Cesar Azpilicueta left for Atletico Madrid, her twin brother Reece, a graduate of the Chelsea academy, took over as captain of the Blues.
