Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal, who was selected for the team to play Scotland and Ukraine in September, has received his first senior England call-up.

Nketiah is England's record U21 goal scorer with 16 goals and has two goals in each of his three Premier League games this season.

Levi Colwill, a defender for Chelsea, was promoted to the squad in June but was not a part of any matchday squads, therefore he was sent back to the U21s. This is his first official senior call-up.

The 26-player roster has been expanded to include defenders Ben Chilwell and Fikayo Tomori, while Harry Maguire, Jordan Henderson, and Kalvin Phillips all keep their spots.

But significant omissions include Ollie Watkins, Nick Pope, James Ward-Prowse, and Raheem Sterling.

On September 9, England plays Ukraine in a Euro 2024 qualifying match in Poland before playing Scotland in a friendly on September 12 at Hampden Park as part of the 150th anniversary festivities of their first game in 1872.
