Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, criticized Gabri Veiga's choice to join Al Ahli and called it "embarrassing."
Veiga was considered as one of the most promising young midfielders in La Liga and this summer has drawn attention from a number of elite teams in Europe.
The Spain Under-21 international had been linked to Liverpool and Chelsea, but it seemed Napoli had won the battle to get him even as of Wednesday.
Veiga, according to Fabrizio Romano, has had a last-minute change of heart and will now sign for the Saudi Arabian club.
Last night, Romano announced the news on his Instagram, to which Kroos reacted, calling it "embarrassing."
