After spending last season with Nice in Ligue 1, the former Chelsea and England midfielder has opted to return to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old was a member of Nice's Ligue 1 team last season but was released after his contract expired.
This Saturday, when Luton Town travels to the Amex stadium to take on Brighton Hove Albion, the former Everton midfielder might make his debut.
If you remember, Barkley gained attention for his actions when playing for his old team, Everton.
The next year, in 2018, he went to Chelsea, but in 2020, he was loaned to Aston Villa, where he scored three goals in 24 League games.
Prior to his contract expiring and his joining Nice last season, Barkley only appeared six times for Chelsea during his most recent Premier League season in 2021–2022.
A strong performance for Luton Town, a newcomer to the Premier League, might help Ross Barkley resurrect his career.
