Roberto Mancini has left Italian national team with immediate effect.
It's been gathered that Roberto Mancini and Italian Federation agreed to part ways, 10 months before Euro 2024
The 58-year-old Italian took over after the squad missed out on qualifying for the 2018 World Cup and guided them to success at Euro 2020, defeating England in the championship game on penalties at Wembley.
The squad embarked on a world record-tying 37-game winning streak before failing to advance to the 2022 World Cup.
Mancini, a former midfielder for Sampdoria and Italy, guided Manchester City to their first Premier League championship in 2012. Italy won the Euro in July 2021 and placed third in the Nations League in June, in addition to other victories.
He was under fire when Italy lost to North Macedonia in the play-offs and was unable to go to the Qatar World Cup in March 2022.
