In preparation for today's Premier League opener, Kevin De Bruyne spent £130,000 on solid gold cased iPhones.
Prior to their encounter against Burnley at Turf Moor, the 26-member midfielder gave the fancy phones to the team.
The defending Premier League champions Manchester City will go to Burnley on Friday night to start their championship defense.
Leading bespoke mobile designers iDesign Gold created the £5,000 each iPhones.
The club logo and player's name were inscribed on each iPhone 14 by Kevin De Bruyne.
De Bruyne, 32, reportedly gave one to Pep Guardiola, his manager, as well.

At 8:00 p.m. GMT tonight, Man City travels to Burnley to begin the 2023–24 season.
It will be a reunion between the team and current Clarets boss and former captain Vincent Kompany.
