Liverpool have been given an extra boost as Alexis MacAllister's three-match sanction was overturned.

Remember that the Argentine international was sent off after a 'wrongful dismissal allegation' for his red card against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Alexis Mac Allister will not serve a ban after successful appeals against the red card he got during Saturday's win against AFC Bournemouth.

The Liverpool player received a sending off in the 2nd half of the Premier League match after a challenge on Ryan Christie.

This means that Mac Allister will be available for selection when the Reds visit Newcastle United on Sunday.

If you recall that Mac Allister joined Liverpool this summer after leaving Brighton Hove Albion.
