Man City coach Pep Guardiola set to miss weeks after undergoing surgery

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has officially announced that he will be sidelined for many weeks owing to a back issue.

According to reports, Pep Guardiola had a regular procedure for a back issue.

The Manchester City manager has reportedly been dealing from excruciating back pain. 

Pep Guardiola will miss Manchester City's matches against Sheffield United and Fulham, the club said after his regular back surgery. 

Until Pep Guardiola returns, assistant manager Juanma Lillo will take over responsibilities on the touchline and be in charge of teaching the first team on the practice field. He is anticipated to make a comeback during the next international break.
