Erik ten Hag, the head coach of Manchester United, has suffered yet another setback.
Luke Shaw, a left-back for Manchester United, is hurt and will be out for a "extended period of time."
The England international is dealing with a muscular problem that might sideline him for a while.
In Manchester United's first two games, Shaw played the whole 90 minutes and has been a regular in their Hag XI.
As of right now, the former Southampton defender will miss Saturday's home game against Nottingham Forest as well as the matchup with Arsenal the following week.
On Thursday, Manchester United issued a short statement confirming the information.
“Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has sustained an injury which will rule him out of forthcoming games.
“The muscle issue is still being assessed,” the club said.
