Mikel Arteta set to offload seven Arsenal players before September 1st

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, wants to offload at least seven players from the team before the summer transfer window shuts. 

According to facts about the transfer window for this season is anticipated to end on September 1.

Arteta wants to reduce the number of players on the Gunners' first team from the current 32.

Matt Turner, Pablo Mari, Auston Trusty, and Granit Xhaka have already agreed to long-term departures from the Emirates.

Marquinhos and Runar Alex Runarsson have moved out on loan.

One of the seven new faces whom Arsenal is trying to get go of is Folarin Balogun. The 22-year-old striker is attracting attention from Chelsea and Monaco.

Another player who may depart is Albert Sambi Lokonga. Brighton has been mentioned in connection with him, but they are more interested on a loan, but the Gunners would rather sell.

Kieran Tierney, who had been closely linked with Newcastle United until they acquired Lewis Hall from Chelsea, is another player that Arsenal is attempting to offload.

Additionally, bids for Rob Holding, Nicolas Pepe, Cedric Soares, and Nuno Tavares are welcome by the Arsenal.
