Nicolas Pepe shares snap of himself returning to Arsenal's training ground after u-turn on his future

Nicolas Pepe uploaded a photo of the Arsenal locker room on his Instagram account to announce his return to training. 

Since the winger was not included in the Arsenal first team squad over the summer, it is thought that he trained by himself at London Colney.

On his Instagram account, Nicolas Pepe posted a picture of an empty changing room at Arsenal's London Colney practice facility. 

Mikel Arteta, however, is ready to work with the attacker this season, while Pepe has one year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium. 

 Recall that in August 2019 Lille sold Pepe to Arsenal for a then-club-record £72 million. 

Pepe wasn't able to put up his best effort despite being anticipated to be a crucial player for Unai Emery's Arsenal. 

Despite scoring 16 goals in his second season at the Emirates, the Ivory Coast international progressively slipped down the pecking order. 

Meanwhile, Nicolas Pepe will not be playing on Monday night when Arsenal travels to Selhurst Park.
