Gabriel Magalhaes discusses what transpired between him and Arteta amid speculation that he might quit Arsenal before tomorrow's transfer deadline. 

The Brazilian center-back made a crucial defensive pairing with William Saliba during Arsenal's Premier League championship defense last season.

However, Mikel Arteta has chosen to sit him this season, with Gabriel starting off the bench in victories against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

He didn't play in Arsenal's most recent game, a 2-2 draw at home against Fulham, and it was rumored that the Gunners were willing to move the defender.

Gabriel of Arsenal has apparently drawn attention from Saudi Arabian teams as well as Real Madrid of Spain.

However, the 25-year-old has made it seem as if he won't be leaving north London this summer. 

On Thursday, Gabriel Magalhes uploaded a photo of himself wearing Arsenal apparel on Instagram with the caption:‘Ready to write a new story!!!’

When Arsenal resumes play on Sunday against Manchester United at the Emirates, Arteta has been pushed to start Gabriel.

Ben White has been the favoured center-back for the Arsenal boss this season, while Thomas Partey, a midfielder, has been employed as a right-back.
