Samuel Chukwueze was seen in the crowd cheering for his old team Villarreal as they faced Real Betis.
The winger from Nigeria supported Villarreal in their La Liga debut last weekend.
It was heard that Betis defeated Villarreal in front of their home crowd.
Recall that Chukwueze signed a contract with the serie A team for over €30 million. The 24-year-old's most fruitful year to date included 13 goals and 11 assists.
Villarreal's 1-2 home defeat to Real Betis in the season's first league game left their supporters inconsolable after a late score in the dying seconds.
The game was settled in favor of the visitors by a William Jose free kick in the 95th minute, much to the dismay of the home team's supporters who were happy with at least a draw after watching their team tie the game in the 62nd.
