Two goals in the second half against Manchester United gave Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou his first Premier League victory.
Pape Matar Sarr gave the hosts the lead after Dejan Kulusevski's cross ricocheted off Lisandro Martinez.
Martinez, a Red Devils defender, later deflected Ben Davies' errant attempt past his own goalkeeper Andre Onana to give Spurs a second late in the game to seal the outcome.
Sarr's first goal gave United fresh energy, and when Antony curled a shot just wide of the post and Casemiro's header pushed Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario into a superb flying save, United came alive once again.
The next Saturday on the road, Tottenham will play Bournemouth. On the same day, United hosts Nottingham Forest at home.
