19 years old Chukwuemeka wins Chelsea Goal Of The Month award

Chelsea's goal of the month for August has been awarded to Carney Chukwuemeka.

Chukwuemeka won the prize ahead of Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, Zak Sturge, and Leo Castledine.

The young player received a resoundingly favorable response from the crowd for his outstanding goal in the Blues' 3-1 loss to West Ham United.

In the 28th minute, the midfielder slipped past the West Ham defense before firing a hard shot beyond Alphonse Areola.

Chukwuemeka received 61 percent of the vote, while Sterling received 31 percent.
