Arsenal 4-0 PSV: "I will have a nice late dinner tonight with my wife" - Mikel Arteta says after winning first game in Champions League

Mikel Arteta has expressed his happiness after winning first game as Arsenal coach in the UEFA Champions League.

The Gunners recorded comfortable win against PSV in their opening game of the UEFA Champions League.

On Wednesday night, Arsenal faced PSV at the Emirates stadium. Bukayo Saka scored the opening goal for the Gunners.

Then the English international assisted Learndo Trossard to score the second goal

Gabriel Jesus made it 3-0 with a fine finish just before the half-time whistle.

Speaking after the game, Arteta revealed that he enjoyed the game and celebrate it with a dinner with his wife

He said, "[I will] enjoy tonight, have a nice late dinner tonight with my wife."

Arsenal returned to the UEFA Champions League competition after seven years. The Gunners last featured in the competition since 2016-17 season.

If you recall that Gunners claimed their qualification back into the UCL after finishing second last season. 

Arteta added:"My kids will be sleeping but I'm sure they enjoyed the game!"
