Mikel Arteta has provided update on the fitness of Gabriel Martinelli ahead of Arsenal vs Tottenham game
The Gunners will face their north London rival this weekend in the Premier League.
Both sides are yet to lose a game so far this season in the Premier League after five games.
Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta has refused to rule out Martinelli from making the match day squad.
Last week against Everton, the Brazilian forward was pulled off in the first half due to hamstring discomfort.
He was unable to participate in Wednesday's Champions League triumph against PSV Eindhoven as a result.
If you recall that the Gunners began their campaign in the UCL with 4-0 win over PSV.
Prior to the weekend game, Mikel Arteta acknowledges that he hasn't completely ruled him out of his plans.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the boss said: "With Gabi we are still assessing him, so let's see if he can make the game or not."
On the other hand, Mikel Arteta also confirmed that Thomas Partey is unavailable.
Thomas, who has been out with a groin injury since the Manchester United game before to the international break.
He said," Thomas [Parety] for sure is out.
"The rest we hope are available, yes we still have two training sessions, but there were no big issues in midweek."
