Nicolas Pepe has been informed by Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, that he will not play for him again.
According to The UK Mirror, club executives are negotiating a pay-off with the Ivorian.
The 28-year-old became Arsenal's record acquisition when he moved from Lille to the Gunners four years ago in a £72 million deal.
Pepe has scored 27 goals in 112 outings for the Gunners, but has now slipped down Arteta's priority list and spent last season on loan at Nice.
Pepe has less than a year remaining on his current contract and has so far been unable to find a new club this summer.
If his contract is not ended, he won't be free to relocate until January.
Even though Turkish clubs may recruit players until September 15, it is doubtful that they would make a move to the Saudi Pro League before their transfer window ends on Friday.
