Portugal's captain Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Monday's Euro 2024 qualifying game against Luxembourg owing to a ban. Friday's 1-0 triumph against Slovakia saw the Al-Nassr striker get a yellow card.
Ronaldo was fortunate to escape more serious penalties when he accidently kicked former Manchester United teammate Martin Dubravka in the face.
Ronaldo was only given a yellow card by referee Glenn Nyberg, and following a VAR review, Ronaldo was spared any additional sanctions.
Ronaldo received his third caution during the European Championship qualification season, which led to his ban.
