Ex-Marlian Records musician says two individuals went crazy while he was signed to the company

Former Naira Marley musician Lil Smart claimed to Davido's label mate Dre DMW that two persons had gone insane before Lil Smart quit the Marlian Record company.

This occurs in the midst of the controversy surrounding the death of Afrobeats singer-rapper Mohbad, who passed away inexplicably.

It should be emphasized that Mohbad supposedly had an injection for an ear infection on September 12, 2023, which was rumoured to be cause of his death.

After his death, allegations spread that he had endured repeated harassment and physical assaults, purportedly from Sam Larry and a gang of men.

Dre was told by Lil Smart, a former signee of the Marlian Record label, some of the problems he had encountered.

In another post on his social media space, he expressed his fear over his life after the demise of Mohbad. 

He posted, “I’m Scared

Never been this scared

Is a Lawless country And it aint for me. I don’t wanna die young.”
