Fans left surprised as Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has goal ruled out against Tottenham

During Liverpool's Premier League match against Spurs, attacker Luis Daz had a goal disallowed by VAR, although replays seem to indicate he was onside.

In the 33rd minute of Saturday's encounter in North London, Diaz believed he had given Jurgen Klopp's team the lead when he calmly beat Guglielmo Vicario.

However, the assistant raised his flag nearly instantly, and the goal was disallowed. Following Sky Sports' video of the event, many people questioned this judgement.

The video below shows that it looks Spurs defender Cristian Romero was using his foot to play Diaz on.

Joel Matip's own goal in the final seconds caused Liverpool to lose 2-1 against Tottenham Hotspur.

Curtis Jones and substitute Diogo Jota were both sent from the game in either half, leaving Jurgen Klopp's team playing with nine men at the end.
