Fulham have signed Nigerian footballer Alex Iwobi from Everton overnight

Alex Iwobi, a midfielder for Everton, has been signed by Fulham in a move that might cost up to £22 million.

The Nigerian midfielder, who is now 27 years old, joined Everton from Arsenal in the summer of 2019. He played 123 league games for the Toffees, scoring six goals.

According to reports, Alex Iwobi has reconnected with Marco Silva, his former Everton manager, by signing a five-year contract with Fulham.

On Saturday, Fulham will play at Etihad Stadium in a Premier League match.

Alex Iwobi's participation in Marco Silva's traveling squad to play Manchester City is doubtful.
