While Gabriel had previously been chosen for teams, he is now aiming to play for the Selecao for the first time in those matches. He is a member of a 23-man team that will face Bolivia and Peru in 2026 World Cup qualification. Gabriel Martinelli, who has six caps, and Gabriel Jesus, who has 59 caps, will go with him. Martinelli will be hoping to add to his six caps.

For England's forthcoming Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine, four Arsenal players have been chosen, including Eddie Nketiah, who is seeking to earn his first senior cap.

Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, and Bukayo Saka are all part of the traveling party for the striker's match against teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko in Wroclaw, Poland, on Saturday. The Three Lions are currently in first place in the group with four victories out of four, six points ahead of their rivals in second place.

The following week, when Ukraine plays Italy in Milan, who did not choose Jorginho, they will have another opportunity to close the deficit.

In the meanwhile, four Arsenal players will go north of the border to face Scotland in a friendly match to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the sides hosting the first-ever international, with Kieran Tierney, who is currently on loan, expected to have a brief reunion.
