Gary Neville, a former player for Manchester United, expressed amazement at Chelsea's recent string of defeats and called it "madness."
Neville concurs that Mauricio Pochettino is the ideal candidate to lead Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
This comes following Sunday's 1-0 loss to Aston Villa for Chelsea.
Neville shared his trust in Pochettino on his Sky Sports podcast.
Chelsea has now dropped three games in a row so far this year.
With five points from six games, the Blues are presently holding onto the 14th spot in the Premier League standings.
Gary Neville said, “What are Chelsea doing?! What is happening with the club? I have got great faith in Mauricio Pochettino, but he’s got a huge pack of cards and he’s struggling to know which hand to play. It’s a mystery as to what’s happening.”
“Sometimes chaos just flows throughout a club. I think there will be some changes in how they go about their business soon enough. I can’t see this lasting in terms of how the club is being run. It’s madness right now.”
