Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, has instructed manager Pep Guardiola to continue yelling at him.
Haaland said that he enjoys it when the seasoned Spanish manager yells at him.
On Tuesday, the Norwegian received the 2022–2023 Premier League Players’ Player honor.
It was gathered that Erling Haaland won the UEFA Men's Player of the Year title on Thursday, beating out Lionel Messi and Kevin De Bruyne.
The Norway striker discussed his great season with the crowd in Monaco.
With 52 goals in 53 games, Haaland led the Cityzens to the European Triple last season.
In his first three Premier League games of the season, he has already scored three goals.
During their match against Burnley, in which he scored twice, Pep Guardiola reprimanded Haaland at halftime in a scene seen by the cameras.
The former Borussia Dortmund star was questioned about it during the UEFA awards presentation.
“Sometimes Pep is a bit scary, I have to say,” he replied talkSPORT.
“But my father can also be a bit scary.
“But anyways this is something I like, I like it when Pep shouts at me…
“So I like it, I’m not complaining at all.”
