Joao Palhinha's new contract has been signed, Fulham has announced.
After a failed transfer to Bayern Munich on the last day of the transfer window, the 28-year-old midfielder has chosen to commit to Fulham till 2028.
If you remember, the Portuguese midfielder had a physical with Bayern, but the deal fell through because Fulham was unable to find a replacement in time for the transfer window to close.
Palhinha signed a five-year contract with Fulham in 2022, reportedly paying over £17 million to transfer from Sporting Lisbon.
On the other hand, Fulham also announced that Harrison Reed has signed a new long-term contract with the club that is good until 2027 with an additional year's option.
In his 37 Premier League appearances last season, Reed scored three goals and contributed four assists; the one game he missed was due to a suspension.
