Mason Mount's tumultuous departure from Chelsea may have a "untold side," according to John Terry.
The former Chelsea captain has also pleaded the Blues supporters "not to be too harsh" on the Manchester United player when he returns to Stamford Bridge.
It's been gathered that Mason Mount who cost the Red Devils £60 million this summer, allegedly demanded a wage on pace with Raheem Sterling, the highest-paid player in the Blues, during contract negotiations with Chelsea last season.

There are always two sides to every issue, said Chelsea icon Terry, pleading with supporters to be kind to the England midfielder.
The ex England defender also said that he may have inside knowledge about Mount's decision to quit the team, which may help to mitigate some of the criticism leveled at the 24-year-old.
'Mase is proper Chels through and through. There's always two sides to a story and I know the other side to it,' Terry told Knockout Events on Friday.
'I'm not going to air that tonight but there's another side to the story. Let's not be too harsh on him when he comes back.'
Mason Mount amassed 33 goals and 37 assists in 195 games while at Stamford Bridge, helping the Blues win the Champions League in 2021.
Although, the English international is unavailable for Manchester United due to an injury.
