Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is already concerned about his team's condition before of their encounter against Wolves.
Darwin Nunez may be subject to a last-minute fitness evaluation upon his return to Liverpool this week before Jurgen Klopp's team takes on Wolves on Saturday.
During the international break, Nunez participated in both of Uruguay's matches against Chile and Ecuador.
The 24-year-old was back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Ecuador after contributing an assist in Uruguay's spirited 3-1 victory against Chile.
Nunez was unexpectedly removed from the game at halftime when Marcelo Bielsa made substitutions.
After the game, the Uruguayan coach said Nunez's replacement was due to his level of fitness.
But when he comes to Merseyside in the coming days, the Uruguayan will now need to demonstrate his fitness. On Saturday morning, Liverpool will play Wolves, and manager Jurgen Klopp already has to make some significant selections for his squad.
