Mason Greenwood spotted in Getafe shirt for the first time since completing his move from Man Utd

Mason Greenwood makes his debut appearance wearing Getafe colors.

Mason Greenwood has addressed Getafe supporters for the first time since joining the club on a deadline day loan from Manchester United.

Although there won't be a transfer fee paid by the Spanish club, they will make a minimal salary contribution while the English attacker is on loan. 

Since his arrest in January 2022 on allegations of many offenses, including attempted rape, Greenwood hasn't participated in any competitive football since December 2021.

The club then suspended the 21-year-old, but in February the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the allegations when important witnesses withdrew and fresh information emerged.

The first pictures of Greenwood wearing the team colors have already surfaced on social media after the completion of his temporary relocation to Spain.

On Tuesday afternoon, Getafe supporters will be formally introduced to Mason Greenwood and their other summer acquisitions. On Monday, it was announced that the winger would represent the LaLiga team this year by donning the number 12. 

Following his surprising transfer to Spain, Greenwood was seen wearing Getafe colors on Monday night, according to the club's official Twitter account.

The winger held up the team's home jersey and smiled while posing next to a huge replica of their club crest. 

Additionally, the club's Twitter account shared a video of Greenwood speaking to the supporters, "Hi Getafe fans, it's Mason here. I'm so happy to be here and I can't wait to get started' before showing a thumbs up to the camera.
