Today, Arsenal defeated Bournemouth 4-0, and Declan Rice was thrilled to watch Kai Havertz score the first goal for the Gunners.
The guys of Mikel Arteta were outstanding today. They thoroughly earned the victory after dominating the Cherries throughout the whole game.
Kai Havertz receives a message from Declan Rice after his first Arsenal goal.
Since making their high-profile transfers to Arsenal in the summer, Declan Rice and Kai Havertz have gotten off to quite different beginnings in the team's uniform.
The 24-year-old midfielder has had a difficult time adjusting, while the Englishman has been among the league's finest performers.
This season, Havertz has seemed to lack confidence, but Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka made the decision to do their part to get their comrade back on track.
Saka sent the ball to Havertz, who ultimately scored his first goal after six games, after Arsenal earned their second penalty.
Declan Rice posted a selfie with Kai Havertz with the caption which reads, “My brother man!!! Buzzing for you!”
If you remember, the 24-year-old left Chelsea this summer and signed with Arsenal for 65 million pounds.
The former Bayern Leverkusen midfielder hasn't quite lived up to expectations since joining Arsenal, but it seems like his teammates are rooting for him.
