Neymar has overtaken Pele as Brazil's male all-time leading scorer With two goals in a 5-1 victory against Bolivia.
The 31-year-old attacker, who entered the World Cup qualifier tied with legendary Pele on 77 goals, missed a spot-kick before netting two times in the second half in his 125th appearance.
It was gathered that between 1957 and 1971, Pele made 92 appearances and scored 77 goals. He passed away in December at the age of 82. He was largely recognized as one of the best football players to have ever lived.
Recall that in 2017, Neymar cost £200 million to transfer from Barcelona to Paris St. Germain, making him the most expensive player in the world.
Neymar left the French squad in the summer to sign with Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League.
